Order Processing Time

In Stock Fabric/s:
If your fabric is a “In stock” item your order will generally be processed & posted the very same business day that payment has cleared or the very next business day, provided payment has cleared before 12pm QLD time. If we have received a shipment in then, there maybe a delay of up to 5 business days as we process all the backorders.

Pre-Order Fabric/s:
Due to COVID-19 all Pre-Order and fabric printing time frame is 8-10 weeks, please allow an extra week for us to process and post your order. If part or all of your order has any “Pre-Order” fabric/s, then your order will be sent once ALL of the fabric/s have arrived. We give a release date or expected arrival time on all our Pre-Order fabrics. If your order consist of both “In stock” and “Pre-Order” fabric/s then your order will be sent once the Pre-Order fabrics have arrived unless an extra postage charge is added to your order. Please let us know if you wish to add this.

About The Fabric

Due to high demand, all of our fabrics are sold by the Half A Yard with a minimum purchase of 1 Yard for each fabric. There are a select few that are sold by a Fat Quarter or Half a Yard as this is the last of that fabric. It will state this and measurements in the description of each fabric.

We do our best to ensure that your fabric will remain as one piece, however in rare situations for example if it is a end of bolt sometimes we may ship your fabric in 2 or more pieces.

Minimum purchase is 1 Yard of fabric unless otherwise stated in description. (WOF = Width Of Fabric)

Qty x 2 = 1 Yard 36” x WOF” or 91cm x WOF
Qty x 3 = 1.5 Yards 54″ x WOF or 137cm x WOF
Qty x 4 = 2 Yards 72″ x WOF or 182cm x WOF
Qty x 5 = 2.5 Yards 90″ x WOF or 228cm x WOF
Qty x 6 = 3 Yards 108″ x WOF or 274cm x WOF

All fabrics are typically 42” – 62.5” Wide

Please read the description of each fabric, as for example: the “End Of Bolt Specials” have different measurements.

Check-out

At check-out you will have the option to select your method of payment before your postage is calculated.

Payment Options are:

*Please note the 4 week payment plan is split into 4 payments taken weekly on the day the order was placed and every week for the next 3 weeks regardless of which day of the week it is, we try and make these payments the same however the first one maybe a few more cents higher than the final 3 remaining payments. You will receive a email with the details of your payment plan and how much each week will be taken. Your fabric WILL NOT be shopped until the final payment is received.

You can be assured all items sent will be lovingly wrapped. We post Worldwide & can post orders any day of the week except Saturday’s, Sunday’s & Public Holidays. All items are posted via Australia Post.

Payments by PayPal For Australian Residents

As per PayPal’s policy every item posted must go out with Tracking, Signature & Insurance, as you can understand this postage method does cost a bit extra then standard post.

Pick Up Sunshine Coast:
This is a Free service, no postage will be charged, however signing a Pick Up Form will be required.

Payments by Direct Deposit for Australian Residents

We are not required to send orders out with Tracking and Insurance, this makes the postage quite a bit cheaper selecting this method of payment. Orders will not be processed or sent until the payment has cleared into our bank.

You may choose any of following postage options at checkout:

Direct Deposit ~ Via normal post with Tracking
Pick Up Sunshine Coast

IMPORTANT: Using the postage option, “Direct Deposit” means this method of postage is sent via a normal envelope/Postage bag & is AT YOUR OWN RISK. If order is less than 1 Yard it does NOT come with Tracking or Insurance. If your order is bigger than 1 Yard then it will be delivered in a Postage bag which does come with tracking. The Fabric Tree House will take NO responsibility if items are lost or damaged while in transit with Australia Post when using this method.

Postage Prices for “Direct Deposit” are:

Quantity of 1-6 = $9.90 (Includes tracking if more then qty 3)
Quantity of 7-18 = $14.90 (Includes tracking)
Quantity of 19-64 = $15.90 (Includes tracking)

Payments by Credit Card for Australian Residents

We are not required to send orders out with Tracking and Insurance, this makes the postage a bit cheaper selecting this method of payment. Orders will not be processed or sent until the payment has been processed.

  • Credit Card – Via normal post with Tracking or
  • Pick Up Sunshine Coast

4 Week Payment Plan Australian Residents

Your order will be sent with Tracking. Orders will not be processed or sent until the final payment has been processed.

When selecting this method of payment your order WILL NOT be SENT until the final payment has been made. We do our best to make sure that the 4 payments will be the same amount however given different totals your first payment maybe a few cents higher than the other 3 payments. You will be emailed your payment plan and your first payment will start the day you place your order and your remaining payments will be weekly from that day. You may choose any of following postage options at checkout:

  • 4 Week Payment Plan or
  • Pick Up Sunshine Coast

IMPORTANT: Using the postage option, “4 Week Payment Plan”  Your Credit Card details are not saved on our system, as soon as the final payment has been processed the card number and details are automatically deleted from the system.

Residents Outside Australia

International Orders are welcome, the only payment method available is PayPal please select the option PayPal when checking out. Please note with the overseas rates, we have had to calculate on a worse case (so the most expensive) If the postage is cheaper we grantee that we will refund the difference back to your PayPal account or give you a credit towards your next purchase, which ever you would prefer.

Postage Prices for “Overseas Residents” are:
Quantity of 1-6 = $25.00
Quantity of 7-18 = $32.00
Quantity of 19-64 = $55.00
Quantity of 65-120 = $82.00
Quantity of 120+ is capped at $155.00

The above rates are in AUD via Airmail, with Tracking. Your orders will take between 2-4 weeks to arrive normally, with the exception to the rule are public holidays and Christmas Time.

Final Terms

All orders regardless of if they have been paid in full or a deposit has been paid will only be held for 3 months without any contact (unless otherwise arranged). We will do our best to contact you with the details you provide on ordering. If we do not receive a response then the fabrics will be considered abandoned and will re-enter our system after 3 months. If contact is made outside of this time frame and the fabrics are no longer available then a credit will be issued minus a 20% admin fee.

Refunds will not be given if you change your mind. If your fabric is faulty then we are more than happy to replace the fabric if it is in stock or give a full refund if the item is no longer in stock.

For faulty fabric your must contact us within 7 days of receiving your fabric and it must be as you received it unused and unwashed. Please send us a email with pictures attached of the faulty fabric.

If the claim is accepted you will need to return the item for further assessment if approved and deemed faulty your fabric will be replaced if it is in stock, if it is out of stock you will be given a full refund of your item, the refund will be the same method as which the payment was received.

Please ensure you have given the correct address & contact details when placing your order as once orders are posted the details can not be changed. Please ensure your address when placing an order matches the PayPal address if paying for your order via PayPal.
